"Too Hot. Tooooo Hot!"

WE MADE IT! and it only took about 24 hours! The trip was an adventure right from the start....beginning with Air Canada not allowing us to board without proof that we would be leaving Thailand within the allotted 30 day visa, so we had to go downstairs and book a flight to Indonesia as proof. Then of course I got searched like no other at Edmonton security....just to start the trip off right.

One brown girl and one Korean girl really threw off the flight attendants on a flight from Hong Kong to Bangkok to Mumbai, India. There were many double takes and lots of confusion....but a good laugh for us!

But we made it, and it's hot, sticky, and smelly...reminds me a lot of India...Tempo's included :)

Koh San Road...it's hard to walk down the street without being harassed by tuk tuk drivers. "Tuk tuk for you?" "Gorgeeeeooous." "Too Hot. Toooo Hot!" At night it turns into a carnival with street performers, carts of food including fried worms, and scorpions and men trying to get you to see ping pong shows..."Ping pong (insert popping noise made with lips :S) We ventured off of Koh San Road today to visit some temples, and get some food...a nice change from the hustle and bustle of this tourist strip. We will be back in Bangkok to catch our flight home, so we left a few things to do...Thai boxing match, ping pong show, and finding those infamous Thai lady-boys.

We're off to the beautiful beaches of Thailand tonight, Koh Samui, Phuket, and Ko Phi Phi for the next 10 days or so.

Next Stop - Full moon party in Kho Phangan.
